Making Your Own Laundry Soap

I made my own powdered Laundry Soap today! I'd surfed the web and also had a recipe from my mother and I launched out and made a batch. It was super easy and, if I like it as much as people say I will, It will cost me 3 times less than it's costing me now to wash my laundry. (the soap will anyways!)

Here is the recipe:
16 c. Washing Soda
12 c. Borax
8 c. Grated Ivory Soap (or Fels Naptha)

It cost me 10.00 to make this batch. Of course you can make as much or as little as you want to at a time... suite yourself. But at any rate, I've been told that this laundry soap does wonders on your laundry! Making whites so much whiter and brights so much brighter! I can't wait to see the results! Meanwhile... sure is cheaper! :)
