O Christmas Tree!

I'm Ready to get a Christ-tas tree Mommy! And we're off!
Yeah! We got our Christmas Tree!! It's a beauty at nearly 6 ft. tall. We really wanted a smaller one this year with finances as tight as they are right now, but they were pretty well all sold out and no cheaper than this lovely beauty. So, Sunday evening we decorated the tree, listened to Christmas music, ate homemade fudge, popcorn, hot apple cider and fruit. It was soooo so much fun! Nathan played tug of war with a string of beads. He sure didn't want to relinquish them for Mike to hang them on the tree! No siree!
Hannah had a lot of fun hanging the ornaments. When she found the candy canes she immediately opened one up and began to suck on it! Now how'd she remember that from last year anyways?!

When Hannah bit in to a piece of fudge she said: mmmmm!!! With a big look of surprise on her face. To make the fudge, melt 2 c. carob chips in a saucepan. Then stir in 1 c. Peanut butter and add chopped nuts, raisins, coconut or whatever you like! Put in an oiled pan and freeze. It's so tasty! I did half carob chips and half butterscotch chips. mm-mm-good!

Here is the tree-finished product.:
