Mennonite Quilt Show

This morning I took the kids and Mike's grandmother and we went to the Annual Mennonite Quilt Show/Benefit here in Sarasota. We saw some pretty incredible works of art! I wish I was that talented and made such lovely pieces of workmanship. The majority of the quilts and wall hangings, baby blankets were all pieced, sewn and quilted by hand. Incredible!! I put small pictures up to save space, but if you click on them, I think most of them will go larger and you can see some of the careful stitching these ladies have accomplished. I stand in awe. There were also some artsy sorts of things to view and purchase. Such a hand bags, pot holders, casserole holders, scarves, aprons, doll clothes, etc... Fun!
