Good Things to Eat

This past week I have been trying to make one recipe per day which I double so as to put at least half of it in the freezer for a later date. We started the week by making Banana Bran muffins. I got probably 2 dozen of them in the freezer now. Then we made Walnut Olive Burgers-which I love! Now we have a bunch of them in the freezer as well. We made Carob Chip Raisin cookies on another day and on Friday I made a HUGE batch of whole grain waffles. Not bad! I am desperately trying to make healthy additions to our meals and I think this is a great start! Having some of this stuff on hand in the freezer is going to be a plus because it is much easier to eat healthy when it is prepared and doesn't take much time, I think! This coming week I plan on making pizza crusts and..... we'll see what else!
