Wow. What a vacation!! We were gone for a week and loved nearly every moment of it. TONS of pictures to prove it too. :) But then, I think that most of you readers are also Facebookers and have seen the pictures of all the fun on there. So, I won't bother to go in to detail uploading more of the same pictures on to here! Besides, I just finished uploading and ordering a TON of prints from Walmart.com and I am about pictured and computered out for today.
Suffice it to say, the Outer Banks of North Carolina are awesomely gorgeous and well worth visiting. We played on the beach, trekked the sand dunes, climbed a lighthouse, 4 wheeled the beach and saw wild Mustangs, saw the Wilbur and Orville Wright museum and place of the first flights, and generally just had a good, relaxing time together as a family. To top it all off, Heather (adopted sis by choice) and her hubby, David came and spent half the week with us. So we got to see them again. I think their choice to wait to have children has been even more delayed, due to watching our kids whine and fuss and, well, be kids! Hahaha!
At any rate, I am home again. Welcomed by a cozy home and a garden full of weeds. Worked on the weeds some today, whilst Nathan pulled tomatoes. Ha! Life with kids is never dull. ;)
Worked on making a schedule for the day. I like how it LOOKS. I'd like to see how it WORKS. Will begin implementing it promptly. :)
While gone I was so impressed by how easy things were to keep clean and neat at the house where we were staying. The main thing I noticed was that there wasn't much stuff to clutter the place up. Hmmm... something to think about. Since getting back home I have begun to look around yet some more for the things that clutter and disorganize my life. It's really not all that bad. But there are a few areas I'd love to work on-such as the office area. Hate the clutter there. Papers and junk to sort through, it just looks messy.
Anyways, that's all for now. Lots of thoughts swirling, no time to write them all out.... I'm sure it's the same for many of you as well.
