Mike thinks these are hands down, the best burgers he's had. They are simple to make and incredibly delicious. Here's the recipe:
1 c. black pitted olives
1/4 c. water
1 c. chopped walnuts
2 1/2 c. reg. rolled oats
1 c. finely chopped onion
1 t. salt
1 T. soy sauce
1/2 t. sage
1/2 t. thyme
1/4 t. marjoram
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. onion powder
1 c. walnuts
1 3/4 c. water
Blend first 2 ingredients on high until smooth. Pour into bowl and add next 10 ingredients. Mix together. Blend last 2 ingredients on high until creamy. Add to bowl and stir everything together well. Let sit for 15 minuts for oats to absorb liquid. Using 1/3 c. portions, place on oiled cookie sheet and form into burgers. Bake at 350* for 20 on each side.
Oops! can't forget the Watermelon Popcicles! Just blend some seedless watermelon with a bit of water and pour into popcicle molds for a cold summer treat that you and your kids are bound to enjoy!
