So about a month ago on Facebook I asked some of my friends if they had any natural Acne solutions. I got some really neat feedback! Two of which stood out to me-Apple Cider Vinegar and all natural soap.
I've had troubles with facial breakouts since I entered my teenage years and they haven't let up in to my 20's in the least. I've tried quite a few different products on the market out there, including Proactive, Burt's Bee's Acne Solutions, Clearasil, ECT... Nothing has worked too well. Proactive worked the best, but still not like they claim to on their advertisements. Plus, it was pricey and un-natural. I really wanted a natural solution to my problem. So I began searching and asking.
When I heard the suggestion to use Apple Cider Vinegar I thought to myself-Now this is unique! I googled ACV and really found some encouraging articles regarding it's use for Acne. So I decided to try it. I abandoned all acne facial washes and used a plain homemade soap and began using the liquid Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar. 2 tsp. in a glass of water 2-3 times a day. I added maple syrup and a bit of lemon juice to the mixture and it wasn't too awful tasting. I started noticing results after the first couple of days. I couldn't believe it. I used it for 2 weeks this way and my face began clearing up amazingly. However, I was getting really tired of guzzeling down vinegar! So, I decided to try APV tablets through a company called Source Nutrition. The tablets took a bit to come and during this time I decided not to take the ACV just to see what happened. My acne began coming back! As soon as my tablets arrived(at the beginning of this week) I began taking 1-2 with each meal. The results have been amazing once again. No new breakouts, my face is clearing up, and, when I put the actual liquid ACV on my face, it helps to heal the red spots caused by old acne. WOW. Who would have thought! I am so excited to have found a natural solution!
