Aprons-one of my love's

I don't know if you remember or not, but last year when we were in Florida, I had gotten some material to make Hannah 2 dresses. I made the one and she has really never worn it much at all. So much for all that hard work and effort put in to it! At any rate, I decided if she wasn't going to wear them, then I would put the other set of fabric to good use! How about Mother/Daughter Aprons! Between the two pieces of fabric I had enough to make 2 aprons. One for Hannah and one for myself. I am so excited with how they turned out! This one is mine: This one is Hannah's
Here we are together: And here's the wreckage that was wrought in the sewing/play room while I sewed! What a doozer of a mess to pick up! HOWEVER-I made both of these aprons on 2 different days, and BOTH of those days, the kids entertained themselves for most of the duration of the project! Hallelujah! I am beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel!

  1. Light? Tunnel? Time to have another one... ;) Nice work there. Gives us all hope.

  2. Very cute aprons!! I made one of those once for my grandma, she still has it! haha

  3. LOL Laura!! Give me a moment to SAVOR the light, will you?! haha!! and, I repeat-I am BEGINNING to see the light. ;) it's ever so faintly shining in the distance. hehe! And... the playroom still looks just like this. *sigh* and tomorrow is Friday *another sigh*
