A few posts back I mentioned how Hannah was really in need of some focused learning. I know she is young (3 1/2) but she wants to learn. She's open and ready. I've been pouring over schooling and curriculum ideas and have come up with what I think is an exciting collection! Last night.... I ordered it all. I can't wait for it all to arrive! Hannah is really excited to "do school."
So, here's my selections!
Keepers of the Faith- a faith based curriculum that has a lot of terrific resources for young minds.
I love all their little story books as well.
Here's what I got: Preschool Workbooks.
Preschool ABC Workbooks
Leapfrog Letter Factory-the reviews on it are fantabulous. I actually ended up getting mine really cheap off of http://www.half.com/
Young Minds: Numbers and Counting- in love with this. I am really hoping it helps get Hannah on track with her counting-in sequential order. :) It looks phenominal and again, the reviews on it are terrific. I like the content of this better than Leapfrog, however, I can see where leapfrog can have its place in learning the phonics sounds.
I think this is going to provide some fun summer learning fun and hopefully prepare us to begin My Father's World Kindergarten after Hannah turns 4 in November. We'll see how it goes, but I'm optimistic and think Hannah will catch on fast. Looking forward to see what Nathan learns from all of this as well! :)
