Father's Day Weekend

Father's Day weekend! And I accidentally made all these pictures small and don't feel like going back and changing them all! I've been having enough blogger troubles this afternoon! Haha! So, bear with me! I started out our Father's day weekend on Friday evening with a special grilled supper for my hubs. I grilled all kinds of different garden veggies-homegrown eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash(all from our garden) and then onions, potatoes and garlic. Also did some corn on the cob and took out some of Mike's famous homemade burgers from the freezer and grilled them up too. It was a fantastic and yummy feast! Sunday, the kids gave their daddy big hugs and their homemade cards-which he loved. And I presented him with a card I had made for him, as well as a movie I created for him-lots of pictures of him and the kids enjoying times together put together with a song about Daddy's Hand's in the background. It was really sweet and he loved it.

Afterward a delicious breakfast of pancakes with strawberries and whipped cream, we went outside for some water fun! It was such a hot day! Nathan got the biggest kick out of spraying everyone with the hose!

Here he is getting his daddy wet and laughing hysterically! We also did some water balloons and ran through the sprinklers. After we were thoroughly wet and tired out, we ate some big giant slices of watermelon outside.

Then we went to the store and got a few ingredients to make a couple of things for a Father's Day dinner for Mike and his dad. I made macaroni Salad and some veggie pizza squares (allrecipes.com) and we grilled the remainder of Mike's burger's. Mike's grandma brought a cake she'd made and we had watermelon as well. Yum!

It was a great day! I am so thankful for my terrific dad and the wonderful daddy I have for my children. God is so good. :)
