He actually got on that sled all by his little self and took off down the hill!
It was so much fun to get out and play in the snow together! We came back in, warmed up and got some Christmas dinner ready! It was super delicious. I made a vegan Green bean casserole (from Fat Free Vegan) That thing was the most tastiest green bean casserole ever!!! (Heather-I found a use for that .84 silk soy creamer!) I made a stuffing filled with dried apricots, cherries, cranberries, canned pineapple tidbits, granny smith apples.... Oh it was yum. I made whipped sweet potatoes, corn, garlic bread, cranberry sauce, etc..... Such a yummy meal! We were able to share it with Mike's mom and one of his brother's.
Hannah received from mama and daddy-a kid's VTech computer, complete with lots of learning games. She loves it. Nathan recieved a John Deere Tractor complete with gear's and a wagon to haul things in (namely his Sister Hannah.) Pictures to come-those are some that have not been able to be uploaded as of yet!
We basically enjoyed a beautiful Sabbath Christmas day. Spending the morning at church, witnessing an inspiring baptism by a young fellow in our church. Came home, had some tasty Vegan Fettucine Alfredo (wow it was Super good), then laid in front of the fire and rested. Slowly... we opened our few presents, savoring each one. Sunday we did our Christmas dinner and snow play. :) (Christmas continued, right?!)
So there it is in a nutshell. A wonderful Holiday! My parents are coming in on Wednesday for a continuation of Christmas, my mom's 50th birthday and New Year's!
