Old Fashioned Campmeeting

So at sort of the last minute, we decided to head up to the mountains of North Carolina for some good old fashioned campmeeting fellowship. We're glad we went! Such a peaceful place for campmeeting. Wonderful people to fellowship with. Fun classes for the children. Good speakers and song artists (Dwight Nelson and Jennifer LaMountain). Here's a quick peak at what our weekend looked like-in part of course! View of the lake from our hotel window. We got to be on the 6th floor! The kids had a blast riding the elevator. Hahaha.
Picnicing with friends after church. The kids were rarely sitting. Mostly rolling a ball back and forth and running around. Here they are playing "Bus Driver".... I think!

Baby Becca sleeping in daddy's arms. She's such a good little baby. :)

Free to crawl at last-Rebecca perused the motel room from corner to corner. Her favorite landing spot was under the sink playing with the empty trash can.

Took a Nature Walk and tried to capture faces both looking at me at the same time. Impossible.

With two of my little munchkins-sort of tired after a long, hot day!

Sunday morning nature walk on the board walk over the lake!

Such a peaceful, serene view... The kids liked feeding the ducks Graham crackers on Sabbath afternoon!

All in all, it was a lovely time. The whole family enjoyed it and hopefully the day will come soon when the kids are big enough and we can go for the whole week. Hurray!
