Hannah's 5th Birthday

Last week was a very full week. We started it off with something very special.... Hannah's 5th birthday. It's hard to believe that I have a 5 year old now! She is such a sweetheart and a real treasure. :) Mike and I got her some wooden sliceable fruit, veggies and bread made by Melissa & Doug, a Bible and a Bible case (all from Amazon.com) She said that her favorite gift was her Bible. And since her birthday she has wanted to read it often. So very very precious.

She really wanted friends over for her birthday this year and what a blessing that we had some to invite! All in all there were 8 littles running around outside and they all had so much fun together.
It's so much fun to see this playset put to good use! The kids had a wonderful time playing on it and the weather cooperated and we were blessed with a beautiful day as well.

The birthday girl!

Hannah's friend, Amarys swinging happily. Somehow, she is not in the group photo I took. I'm not sure how that happened, but I wanted to make sure she was included so she get's her very own special picture. :)

Here's the happy group, minus Amarys, who is pictured above. :)

Haystacks for lunch. Yum yum! The kids ate on the back porch on the little kid sized picnic tables that Mike made this spring!

Cupcakes!! eager eyes are watching!

yummy! Some little gal likes cupcakes and frosting. ;)

Two friends played a special birthday song for Hannah :)

Hannah and Nathan watched very attentively as they played. They thought that was so neat!

We really had such a wonderful time together and even got to take a walk with the last family to leave. We felt so blessed to have friends to share Hannah's special day with.

Happy 5th birthday my girl. :)
