Cave Exploring in the Shenandoah Mountains

While on vacation in the Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia we explored two of the many caves that were in the area.
I initially sort of thought that once you'd seen a cave, you probably have seen them all. But I was proved quite wrong. And sadly, I left my camera in the car on the second cave, because it was amazing.
This cool snapshot is what they called Bacon Strips. It does look like it, doesn't it?!
It's amazing to think that all of this is under the ground. Out of sight, you would never know that all of this is under the earth.
Bridal Veil. People actually get married in caves! And particularly some of them in this particular cave get married in front of this spectacular view.
Cool Lighting effects throughout the cave.
We explored Shenandoah Valley Caverns and Luray Caverns while in Virginia.
There was alot more of them to explore in the area and one thing that was neat is that there were alot of extra things to explore along with the caves, one of the caves had a huge float museum in connection with it. The floats were large and incredible, they used to be in Rose parade's. Another had a huge old automobile car museum and a frontier village to explore.
We really enjoyed this part of our vacation!
Next up is some of the scenery and hikes! :) Stay tuned.
