Flowers and Lace and Everything Nice. It's what little girls are made of. (most of the time. ;)
She wanted a Tea Party to celebrate her 7th birthday. Her 7th birthday on the 7th of the month. A special day for sure.
A quick stop to the local Goodwill and we found 2 adorable little tea cups to add to her collection. And we also found this sweet and lacy old fashioned tea dress.
I whipped up this Raspberry Cake ( and this picture is shown minus the candles and the Raspberries that we decorated it with later!)
One pretty girl, opening her presents. She was so happy it was her birthday!
She got many nice gifts from family and friends, and one of her favorites was this music maker!
Blow those candles out! :)
We had a nice supper with family on her birthday evening and the next morning we had part two of the party. A tea party with a few friends. :)
I made these little cupcakes and flavored vanilla icing with raspberry jello and then put the little red raspberries on top. So adorable.
Here was our spread! The kid's spread an old fashioned quilt on top of the coffee table and Hannah brought out her 7 red roses that her Papa gave her for her birthday (her middle name is Rose, hence the tradition of roses on her birthday!) I made Pizza Poppers and Pizza Roll crescents-both Pinterest Ideas.
We enjoyed Celestial Seasoning's tea sampler of all their "fruity" tastes and oooh yum! They were very delicious!
Hannah had a delightful time with her friends and I had fun preparing her a simple yet sweet little party. I wonder what the number 8 birthday will bring??? :)
