It's cold. It's raining, or snowing... and curling up on the couch with a blanket, a book and a cozy drink sounds very inviting.
Today I'm sharing how I make hot chocolate on occasion.
First I take a few squares of chocolate and melt them in a saucepan on a low heat.
Next I slowly add in soy, rice or almond milk- I especially like Vanilla Almond Milk- it really adds a richness to the drink. Also, several Tablespoons of Hershey's Extra Dark Cacao powder and a teaspoon or two of sugar.
Whisk the ingredients together.
Until all nice and combined and hot.
(here's the Cocao I used)
Pour into mugs and plop a marshmallow on top or a dollop of Whipped cream. Ummm yum.
What's better than that? :)
