When the windows are thrown open and the curtains are ruffling in the breeze and the sun is shining brightly, I feel so inspired to clean my house! Coming off a rough winter filled with sickness which resulted in some injured side ribs and cartilage and lots of pain, I hadn't really done much of anything but the bare basics for months. Finally I am feeling much better pain wise and am able to attend to things easier! I decided it was high time to do some sprucing up! I took the mop to my floors and made them shine! I cleaned the ashes out of the wood stove for the last time this season! I dusted and arranged! And I opened the windows and doors and let that sunshine and fresh air stream in!
I gathered flowers and put them in a neat old jar that my husband salvaged from an old house he is renovating. Isn't it pretty? I lit my delicious Blueberry Cheesecake candle from my friend Meghan at www.kmaccreations.com (LOVE her stuff btw!)
Our God really knew what He was doing when he created this beauty!
I went outside and cut a few Forsythia branches and put them in yet another cool vase and sat that on my table.
That weekend I had the kids do Resurrection artwork. I got a few ideas from my friend Candace at www.mercyisnew.com for some resurrection art. The picture below was done by Rebecca (3) with just a little bit of help from mama. It's oil pastels and watercolor. I deemed it frame worthy. Love the colors in it!
I found this little printable on Pinterest. You can find it on my Easter board: www.pinterest.com/ozarkrose84
It is just so much fun to decorate for Spring!
Coming next is something to do with your kids to prepare their hearts for the Resurrection!

Keep up the good work, I read few posts on this web site and I conceive that your blog is very interesting and has sets of fantastic information. NorthHillsCAGarageDoorRepair
